ABOUT

Kasia Bloch, a self-taught artist from Poland, fuses oils, acrylics, and digital techniques to craft vivid, contemporary artworks. Her work celebrates experimentation and the dynamic intersection of tradition and innovation.
"My visual vocabulary leans toward expressive abstracts and figurative or
semi-figurative works. I often use simplicity of colour and form combined with emotionally charged content to express authenticity and vulnerability of human
inner world. "
" I aim to create art that is raw, honest, and psychologically or emotionally resonant, stripping away social or decorative “masks” to reveal
a deeper core of human vulnerability and
inner life. "
" A recurring feature in some of my figurative paintings is nudity, which for me is loaded with symbolic meaning. It is not meant to express eroticism, but truth, authenticity, and vulnerability. It “clothes”
the subject only
in their emotions."
" Through my work, I explore the “smallness of our existence” and the chaos of human emotion. I hope this suggests a philosophical and existential approach to both life and art, encouraging viewers to see that I don’t paint merely for beauty or decoration, but to probe the depths of human
inner experience. "
